CDROMbie

CDROMbie is a program you can use to drive your friends and coworkers nuts. Once installed and running, CDROMbie will quickly open and close the CDROM tray in the computer every 10 to 20 minutes. It won't openclose when the screen saver is on though, so you don't have to worry about wearing it down.

Should work on Windows XP and higher.

Installation

1. Download CDROMbie
2. Put the file on a flash drive
3. Go to your friends computer, plug in your flash drive, and double click on cdrombie.exe.
4. Remove your flash drive and watch the fun begin.

Running cdrombie will install it to the C:Windows directory and put itself in the system startup.

Getting rid of it

1. Open up task manager, find the cdrombie.exe process and kill it.
2. Open up a command prompt, and go to your Windows root directory (C:Windows).
3. Run cdrombie.exe uninstall
4. It should tell you that it's been successfully uninstalled.
5. Delete cdrombie.exe from the Windows directory.
